Anitivirus Portable: New, Cool Security Software

But this specially designed code can help you in ways that your big cumbersome antivirus program can’t. It can boot off of a USB thumb drive and scan your computer files without being involved in your computer’s system files which are often compromised by intelligent viruses. The developers of these smart viruses and worms have found ways to de-commission your normal antivirus firewall software (like McAfee and Norton) so that it can’t get updates that would detect this devious virus. So what makes this software so useful and wanted among computer techies? It is the small but powerful scanning engine, its ability to boot on a remote device, and its traffic flow monitor.
The scanning engine of these antivirus portable systems is quite incredible. It can independently scan all of your computer files while detecting any malicious activity that may be happening within your computer. It is amazing to me that this little piece of code can remember thousand of virus definitions and uses them to detect and clean systems.
Another great piece of portable software is its ability to boot off of portable devices like a USB stick. This allows a technician to boot a computer that has been seriously infected by a virus and to independently clean it. Booting a system off of a portable device allows the computer to operate on non-native system files therefore using system files that have not been compromised by a smart virus.
The last thing that has recently been added to most of these software suites is the ability to watch traffic and determine what it is and where it is going. This is good because it can tell a computer technician when valuable data is being transferred “secretly” from the computer to a rogue website.
This is great software and hopefully will spread around the world because it can go along ways in cleaning infected computers and protecting the same computers from deadly viruses. This exciting software can be found all over the internet and should definitely be tried out.
