Disposable Toilets Seat Covers: For The Whole Family

April 25, 2010

Everyone is concerned with germs, and who wouldn’t be? They say that most germs are passed around from people touching door handles and such, so of course we then try to keep our hands clean. What about using public toilets? Did you just shudder too? I only use them if I have no choice. Something that I’ve have started to do was to carry disposable toilet seat covers when the family goes out.

You may think I’m a little paranoid, but think about it. Do you really want children putting their hands on a public toilet seat to “steady” themselves while sitting on the toilet?

I didn’t think so. Public bathrooms are never as clean as you own. When was the last time it was cleaned? How good of a job did they do? I would much rather protect myself then to play toilet roulette.

Now with any luck, a public toilet will have a disposable toilet seat dispenser there waiting for you. Hopefully it will be supplied. If it is, it’s usually the thinnest paper you can find. Will it protect you from any moisture? I’d so no. If there isn’t a dispenser, then you have to take strips of toilet paper and lay it out on the toilet seat then sit down in time before the paper shifts. Sounds like fun, eh?

Why do this to you and your family. Going out is supposed to be fun and you don’t need this stress. Here is how you can prevent this.

You can get disposable toilet seat covers in stores and online. They come in packets as small as 5 per packet. This makes it very easy to carry around with you when going out. You will find much better quality ones than you do in a public stall. Some will come with a moisture barrier that will help keep you and yours dry. There are other covers that come with a sticky tape to them to help secure the cover to the toilet seat.

Think about including disposable toilet seat covers the next time you go out.
