While everyday is definitely not going to be the same, the duties for a journeyman electrician has on a daily basis can range anywhere from simple and easy to strenuous and difficult. Making sure the delivery and requisition of all tools and equipment transact smoothly, troubleshooting problems or difficulties in the installation of an electrical component, meeting with contractors and such to report any concerns and inform of progress, reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and such to make sure the job is approached correctly and last but not least installing panels, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, circuits, fixtures and other electrical equipment are what collectively make the duty of an individual who is a journeyman electrician along with the training of an apprentice. These responsibilities and required duties are nothing to laugh at and think nothing of, this list is incredibly important and because it deals with the general public and population in terms of making sure that they have electricity, everyone needs to be at their best at all times and there is little room for mistakes before being set on fire by the media or bosses. Overall, besides the fact that journeyman electrician have pretty hectic duties they must perform the money, benefits and vacation time generally make up for everything and make the career a very rewarding one to have.
