“Think IBM. Think LENOVO T60.” This is what the new entry to the T series speaks out loud. Equipped with a much faster processor and larger memory, the T60 comes with a fingerprint recognition feature that gives you the freedom of accessing your notebook without having to enter a password every time. You can use the fingerprint swipe suiting your style. The Lenovo ThinkPad T60 Notebook features the new Intel Core Duo processor fit in the same crisp sleek and slim design of T series notebooks.
The T60 Lenovo comes with a lightning quick 2.0 GHz Core Duo processor and a faster i945GM motherboard chip-set to give you all the processing power you need on the go. With a 100 GB hard disk to store all your movies and music, the Lenovo T60 Laptop proves to be a great multimedia book. The sound card is pretty good and the response of speaker is great, allowing you to enjoy movies without external headphones or speakers. It also packs in a larger 15 inch screen as compared to the T40 and has just crackling screen resolution of 1400 x 1050. The graphics card is more powerful and comes with 128 MB dedicated memory.
Managing wireless connectivity was never this easy. With compatibility to gigabyte LAN and wireless networks you never run out with connectivity options. A 1GB memory chip is sufficient for both home use and office use.
Another advantage of the Lenovo ThinkPad T60 is that it includes the fast access to Think-vantage via a single touch. The included 9 cell lithium ion battery gives up to 4-5 hours of battery backup with moderate use.
The battery however, protrudes out from the back cramping the style. Upon leaving the notebook inactive for certain durations, it goes into some kind of sleep mode difficult to handle. Sometimes one feels running short on memory too.
Overall the ThinkPad is built for durability, portability and performance. It surely satisfies all it is expected to do, but little more.
