Well the day has finally arrived for those who own a Bosch Tassimo Coffee Maker. Many of us have been patiently waiting for this moment for a long time, and that moment has finally arrived after much thought and consideration from this major company. The moment all of us who use this one cup at a time brewer have waited for is the fact that Starbucks has finally committed to the packaging of their coffee into the Tassimo Coffee Pods. This exciting moment as of December 2009, has not only been long awaited by the Bosch Tassimo Coffee Pods Company, but those who enjoy Starbucks Coffee have waited for this moment as well.
The Tassimo Coffee Pod or T Disc has with stood many changes and much needed upgrades since its first introduction to France in 2004. The Saeco Company originally manufactured the T Disc version however the machines newest version is now being manufactured by the Bosch Company located in Germany.
The single serve or one cup at a time coffee machine operates with a small complex disc, T Disc or coffee pod. Specially built within the machine is a computer device that enables the machine to read the bar code located on the Tdisc. Each bar code, once inserted, is read by the machine that deciphers the codes telling exactly how to calculate the exact amount of water, brewing time, and temperature for the specific beverage. This brewing process takes approximately 30-60 seconds to brew each disc properly.
Not wanting to be engaged with a faulty product, Starbucks decided to wait until the timing and market was right, and at the end of the 2009 quarter Starbucks has unleashed its new Starbucks T Discs into the coffee market. There are plans to sell the Bosch Tassimo Coffee Makers within each retail store within the following months. The sale of the machines will follow shortly after the unveiling of this new product to the major retail department stores. If you are a current owner of a Tassimo Machine, you are ahead of the game and you can purchase the Starbucks coffee T Discs at your local department store or at many online retailers as well.
